So this weekend I have been working with the new Kaisercraft range, Timeless 2, for Sassy Scrapper and thought I would drop in for a quick share...

Keeping The Best Sketch Challenge

Heya girls! Hope you are all having an awesome week. Dropping in to share a layout I have done for the sketch challenge at Keeping The Best. Got my mixed media grunge on for this one, love love playing with this style!!

I have a heap of journalling on the back of this one....So just in case your wondering what I mean by my title, 'Make Me Feel Something'. I am referring to scrapping. I love looking at other people's pages, getting a glimpse into their lives, their thoughts, their techniques, their styles. And what I love most, is pages that make me feel something. I could scroll through 100 pretty pages on scrapbook.com and not look any closer and then you come across one that makes you want to know more. To see the closeups, to visit their blog, to read the journalling, to wish you could scrap like that...anything really.  And funny enough these pages may not be ones that are the 'big name' scrappers or even in a style that is 'your cup of tea', just people that are innovative and creative and make you go WOW! I love seeing people's work that gives me an emotional response...it's one of the best things about this craft!

Bird Is The Word Smile Challenge

Morning my blog friends =) Feels like ages since I have been here. I have been busy with lots of scrappy projects the past week, none of them I can show just yet. I have also had hubby around a lot more with his work winding up, so with company during the day I have spent less time shuffling papers and photos around ( probably a good thing!). I thought however I would get a quick entry into a challenge before the end of the month creeps up on me so at least I have something to show for all my time at my craft desk! This layout is for the current 'smile' challenge at Bird Is The Word...

Once Upon A Sketch May Challenge

Evening girls =)  Have you all gotten your layouts into Once Upon A Sketch's May challenge yet? If not you still have time. The Design Team have some truly stunning examples for you as well as the opportunity to bag lots of awesome prizes and be a guest designer for our next challenge. So the challenge this month:

Theme: Mum

We would like you to create a layout and interpret the theme "Mum" however you like based on the following sketch. You can journal as little or as much as you like, but your layout must incorporate this theme and the sketch.

Ideas for journalling: you as a mother, your role as a working/stay-at-home mum, sacrifices/benefits of being a mum, one day in your life as a mum, how your life has changed since being a mum, a tribute to your own mum, grandmother, guardian or someone you consider as close as your mum, your relationship with your mum or your daughter, one trait you have take from your mum, your desire to be a mum, your feelings on motherhood, what does it mean to be a mum?, what kind of mum do you want to be? , Mother's Day celebrations/traditions, your favourite Mother's Day gift given/receive etc..

Scrap Friends Sketch Challenge

Afternoon my fellow scrappy addicts =) Hope you all had a great weekend and even better Mother's Day! Just dropping in for a quick share of a layout I have done for the current sketch challenge at Scrap Friends.

With everyone in my household being camera shy of late I am finding more and more my pages are more like diary pages for myself. Which is okay, it's kind of fun to be able to express what's going on in your world and share it without going into lengthy details. 

A little hidden journalling:

For this layout I have used mainly Pink Paislee Daily Junque & Spring Jubilee and my all time new favourite product, Elle's Studio! They make these awesome ranges of journalling cards, spots and pennants which I had wanted for so long but had found really hard to get here in Australia. I asked the gorgeous Olga at Sassy Scrapper to get them in and they where just as I had hoped. Starting from just $1.10 they are such good value and seem to go with just about everything. Twiddling My Thumbs...

Hey girls =) Hope everyone has had an awesome week. Mine has been..well mind numbing boring to be honest. I really do have too much time on my hands right now and am driving myself a little nuts. I really feel for those girls with lots of little kiddies, housework stacking up, work or study to do + lots of DT stuff. I almost feel guilty reading blogs these days as my days are becoming more and more pure leisure as my nest is almost empty and life here is all pretty low maintenance! So anyway...a layout to share. This one is for the sketch challenge at Scrap Africa. I just discovered this site not so long ago and really love their sketches as they are so easy to interpret to suit your own style...

This is a bit of self motivating layout. I have a fairly big new exciting project coming up but tend to be my worst enemy as I don't always believe in myself or my abilities. I could achieve so much more if I had a little faith in myself and this LO is to remind myself of that!
