Afternoon ladies. I've had a nice break from scrapping for a week and now with the delivery of some new goodies, my mojo has returned and I am itching to get back into it. I created this layout last night for a sketch challenge at an American ning site. However it kind of got away from me though and ended up looking nothing like the sketch lol.
The layout is about the things in life that make me the happiest are always the most simplest of things. I have some hidden journalling on a tag behind my photo which reads "Hearing 'I Love You' from those that mean the most to me. Good coffee. Sunday sleep-ins. Having a laugh over something silly. Getting goodies in the mail. A genuine compliment from a friend".
Thanks for dropping by. Hope everyone is having a fabulous week. G xox
yep..those are the things that make me the happiest too :) Really like your layering here. The black paint is so stunning too. Gorgeous :)
ReplyDeletewow! this layout really rocks! you are able to do such an arty layout yet have it so beautiful as well.. I love the barb wire along the bottom, the paint, the ripping, all of it.. your last layout was so feminine, yet this one is so gutsy!! love how you do whatever you want on your layouts and it looks great... Have a great week too!
ReplyDeleteSecond the barb wire! And the mesh looks really neat, too....love your layering, really neat....looks like you've had fun 'playing' with this one:):):)
ReplyDeleteI love this LO and the paint looks great, every time I try it I end up discarding the paper. The layering looks really good as does the whole thing.
ReplyDeleteInsert "hot chocolate" instead of coffee and I'm there with you. I am loving the "grungy" feel if some of your LO's, you make everything look so stunning and so effortless. But I guess that is what happens with a passion. I am constantly in awe of what you can do.
