Stampotique May Steampunk Challenge SDC#148

Hey everyone :)

Dropping by today for another stamp challenge. I am really enjoying my 'DT Free' holiday experimenting with new things. One of those is image stamping. I had been eyeing of the amazing Stampotique stamps for the past year and finally got hold of some in Australia.

So this is my first ever project with their stamps. This is for the current #SDC148 Steampunk Challenge @ Stampotique.

Viva Las Vegas May Challenge

Hey guys :)

So I have a project to share for the Viva Las Vegas May Inspiration challenge. I have created at ATC card using the amazing VLV Jagged Chain Link Fence stamp and Whimsical Elephant stamp which literally just arrived in my mail box (with a few others hehe) a couple of days after I spotted this challenge. I think it was fate! 

I have painted my background with acrylic paint, used watercolor for my elephants tears with Ranger embossing powder around the edges.

Unless you know me personally, you may not know that I am someone who is very passionate about animal welfare issues. No I am not some uber vegan 'shall never kill a spider' buddhist but I do believe we should do everything in our power to protect animals and treat them with respect. One of the issues I feel very strongly about is the use of wild animals in Circuses.

I was kind of in the mood to keep going after this one with all my new stamps to test out and wanted to do something a little more cheerier! This is a card created with the gorgeous Whimsical Bomb Girl Stamp designed stamp .....

Prima Marketing BAP & 13Arts Challenge

Hey guys :)

Hope everyone has had an awesome weekend. Feeling slightly better here with the help of some decent pain killers :)

Got my scrap on over the weekend, this layout has been created for the May Prima Marketing BAP & 13Arts Vintage Memories Challenge. This is a photo of my Dad & I.

I have used the gorgeous Prima Marketing Time Traveller collection and added some pops of color with 13Arts mists & acrylic paint.

7Dots Studio & Scrapki-Wyzwaniowo May Challenge

Hey guys :)

Hope everyone is doing well. I have been off the grid the last fortnight with a bad back and hips (which really sucks). The few hours I have had where I felt okay, I really really wanted to create something. So this is my layout for the current 7Dots Studio challenge - which is 'April Showers Bring May Flowers' and the current Scrapki-Wyzwaniowo challenge which is to use a key somewhere on your layout.

We live in a small coastal community directly across from a beach. So May for us isn't so much about flowers as it is rain. We rely on tank water so we never really complain about it. I wanted to capture the water feel for my layout and created drips down my page with some glass effect gel.

And here is my key - a Tim Holtz clock key (love these!)
