Hey guys :)

Stopping by today with a challenge entry for Stuck Sketches.

It is has been very quiet around our household the past few days. My 'baby' is off on a 10 day holiday with his school around Australia. And although I am missing him to bits, it does allow me some extra scrap time :)

Bit of a messy grungy layout. Which was intended to have a photo of myself & hubbie but when it came time to print my photo, no ink!!! Isn't it always the way. So it has a photo of me I have used before as I had this already printed haha.

I have scrapped one of my favourite photos of my parents. Yes the height difference is pretty obvious isn't it. My dad is barely 5 foot while my mum is just under 6 foot. My dad is exactly 10 years older than my mum which is weird too as it is the same for my husband and I am also a few inches taller than him ;)

Paperdvizhnik Guest Designer

Hi fellow scrap addicts :)

As the winner of a challenge a while back at Paperdvizhnik, this month I have been invited back as a guest designer. Very exciting!! Love this challenge site as they really embrace arty mixed media styles like mine :) 

So the current challenge is a color one. To use grey and white and 2 colors of your choice. Mine where lime & blue...

And if you are wondering what a flavour saver is, it is that tiny tuft of hair that men grow under their lip. My son's dad has one, my hubbie has one and now my 16 year old. I just can't seem to get away from them :)

My Mind's Eye Challenge

Hey everyone :)

Hope everyone is doing well! So I have finally scrapped all my DT work and am ahead. Whooo hooo! Feels like ages since that has happened. Which means I get to do a challenge. And what better challenge than an MME challenge right? I had been itching to play with the new Cut & Paste range and this was my perfect excuse.

So the theme of the challenge is Labor Day. Being Australian we don't celebrate this, or any other political themed holidays really. So I thought about the other meaning of 'Labour', yes the 24 hours it took to bring this guy below into the world. Exactly 16 years ago! This is us celebrating his b'day last week. They tell you 'they grow up so fast' and it never really hits you  until they hit those teenage years and you realize how true that saying is :)
